Praying for your boss

I have found myself in a situation where my VP wants me gone. She doesn’t trust my reporting anymore and finds anything to contradict me. Today was another day of her antics. While in the process of getting mad, again, for what she is doing, I stopped and prayed. I prayed for her to have peace, for her to get something she desires, I just prayed. Something about lifting up an enemy to God is comforting. In the process of the prayer, I understood that she is stressed and is taking out on me. I am not doing anything wrong and I don’t need to fight back. I will still point out when my data is correct but I will do it out of love and a little pity. I have always loved Abigail and her speech to David to remind him to let God handle it. I never used it as advice for myself until today. I encourage you to try it yourself.
